Fleetora

Privacy Policy

Effective date: 3 October 2026 · Website and Android app

This policy describes information processed through the Fleetora GPS tracking website at app.fleetoramobility.com and the Fleetora Android application (package com.fleetora.app). It covers accounts, fleet monitoring, maps, reports, alerts, and related features.

1. Your service provider and fleet administrator

If your account is provided by an employer, fleet owner, reseller, or other organization, that organization administers your access and determines which vehicles and people are tracked, who can view records, and how long tracking records are retained. Contact the organization that provided your Fleetora account for information about its own tracking practices and notices.

2. Information processed

3. Location and Android permissions

The app requests precise or approximate phone location permission for location-aware map features. You may deny or revoke this permission in Android settings; related features may then be unavailable. The current Android app does not request background phone-location permission. Vehicle tracking data can continue to arrive from independently connected GPS devices even when the app is closed or phone location permission is denied.

Notification permission enables tracking and vehicle alerts. Depending on Android settings, secure-parking alerts may use sound, vibration, or a full-screen alert. Notifications may show vehicle or event details on your lock screen; you can manage their visibility and permissions in Android settings.

When you export or share a report, the chosen files and information are passed to the destination or application you select.

4. How information is used

Information is used to authenticate accounts, enforce access permissions, display fleet locations and history, provide maps and reports, deliver alerts, process authorized commands, support users, diagnose failures, measure app usage, and improve reliability. Fleet administrators are responsible for obtaining appropriate authority and providing notices before tracking vehicles or individuals.

5. Providers and sharing

Tracking information is accessible to users and administrators according to account permissions. Creating a public tracking link or exporting a report can make selected information available to its recipients. Share those links and files only with intended recipients.

Hosting and infrastructure providers process information to operate the service. The Android app uses Google Maps, Firebase Cloud Messaging, Firebase Analytics, and Firebase Crashlytics. These services process information for maps, notification delivery, usage measurement, and crash diagnostics. Map services may receive your IP address and map requests; location-enabled features may also involve location information. Website map providers depend on the selected map layer.

See Google’s Privacy Policy and Firebase’s privacy information for provider practices. Providers may process data in countries other than your own. Information may also be disclosed where required by applicable law or to address security incidents and protect the service.

6. Local storage and security

The website uses session cookies and browser storage for authentication, preferences, and application resources. The Android app stores session information, preferences, and cached service data on the device. Operating-system backup settings may affect app data backups. Clearing browser or app data removes local information but does not delete server-side tracking history or accounts.

The Fleetora website uses HTTPS, and account permissions restrict access to service records. No transmission or storage system can guarantee complete security. Protect your account credentials, shared links, and devices.

7. Retention and deletion

Retention depends on the record type, the fleet administrator’s configuration and requirements, and the relevant provider’s retention practices. Account, tracking, report, and operational records may have different retention periods. Copies can also remain in backups or records retained for legitimate operational or legal requirements.

To request access, correction, account deletion, or deletion of associated information, contact your Fleetora service provider or fleet administrator using the contact details supplied with your account. Identify your account and the information concerned; do not send your password. The responsible organization may need to verify your identity and authority over fleet records. Ask it to explain any records that must be retained and the applicable retention period. Uninstalling the app alone does not delete your account or server records.

8. Your choices

You can manage Android location and notification permissions, sign out, clear local app/browser data, and review account preferences available to your role. Firebase analytics and crash collection are enabled by the current Android app; the app does not currently provide an in-app collection toggle. Contact your service provider about privacy requests or alternatives. Rights available to you depend on your location and the circumstances of processing.

9. Intended users and changes

Fleetora is designed for authorized fleet-management users. Organizations must ensure that their use of tracking features is appropriate for the people and vehicles involved. Updates to this policy will appear on this page with a revised effective date.

10. Privacy contact

For privacy questions and account or data-deletion requests, contact the Fleetora service provider or fleet administrator who supplied your account. For organization-managed accounts, your employer or fleet owner is your first point of contact for tracking-data decisions.
